Passage 1
It was a big week for Alzheimer’s disease. PBS aired The Forgetting, a great documentary about Alzheimer’s disease. There is also a flurry of scientific news that offered hope to the families already struggling with Alzheimer’s, as well as to the baby-boom generation that’s up next. Although there is still no cure in sight, the scientists make much progress on several fronts. It includes mega dose vitamins, combination therapy, brain imaging, and so on.
Passage 2
Trying to cut out time-wasting habits is a common starting point for people who desire to become more efficient, but I think this is a mistake. Optimizing your personal habits should only come later. Clarity of purpose must come first. If you don’t have clarity, then your attempts to install more efficient habits and to break inefficient habits will only fizzle. You need a big, attractive goal to stay motivated. The reason to shave 15 minutes off a task is that you’re overflowing with motivation to put that 15 minutes to better use.

The first man-made satellite launched in 1957 was a great shock to America, and also urged them to take actions. During this procedure, the Americans came up with the concept of navigation satellite system which is named as GPS. It totally solved the problem which is how to position in the three dimensional space of the earth. GPS has already been applied in the various activities. However, its top secret is the worth as a clock. The work which has a high demand of time related to the bank, the telecommunication, even the electricity grid become more and more dependent on GPS.
